Costa Rica Heredia

Heredia is the fourth Province in Costa Rica. It is located just fifteen minutes from the Juan Santamaria International Airport and is easily accesed by the major highway. It is one of the smaller provinces only encompassing 5% of national territory with an area of 2657 Km2. Even though Heredia is small it is its own bopping metropolis and is one of Costa Rica's most important Economic Centers.

Big Business in Heredia

Heredia's economy is overall quite stable as they are a mecca for business due to their Global Park and Free Trade Zone. Heredia is also currently the spot for Costa Rica's only major Conference Center the Ramada Herradura Hotel and Conference center. This is located just 15 minutes from the Juan Santamaria International Airport. Thus far it is the largest conference center space in all of Central America with capacity for almost 2000 people. Almost on a biweekly basis there are public speeches and events held there. Heredia is also year after year the central location for many of the major national trade Expositions such as ExpoAuto, ExpoCasa, and even ExpoConstruccion. Each year these major events are held and draw a lot of attention and traffic through the area.

Heredia is also one of the top producers of coffee due to its soil and climate.
